urbanbuild xvi proposal
fourth year elective studio, fall 2020 // prof. byron mouton


urbanbuild is an elective studio for upper-level undergraduate and graduate students at the tulane school of architecture. students partner to design a 1,000 sq ft two bedroom, two bath proposal for competition. design and construction document production takes place in the fall, and build takes place in the spring.

students also explored ways to aggregate their prototypes in multifamily assemblies.

designed in partnership with hayley burroughs (m.arch ‘22). all drawings + 3d modeling by z. braaten. this semester was conducted partially remotely.
